Cebu TRIP

ang unang hirit

Well, hello everyone!!! Welcome to my first ever entry on this blog. I do not expect many readers and followers from this, all I want is a bit of change or variance (if you want to call it that) from daily grinds of this thing they call life.

C'mon, don't you agree? We are all so consumed with the everyday things that we get to forget to appreciate and share the other things life has to offer. This blog will simply let me do just that. Stop for a while and appreciate the wonders of little things and if you think will keep people happy (and hopefully, interested), then that's something worth sharing.

So as we begin this travel together, hopefully i would be able to impart some little things and effect a bit of 'variance' in life's daily grind.

Now on to our fist topic. Tomorrow, I will be scheduled to go to Cebu to attend a conference there. This conference is supposed to be attended by my boss but since she is quite busy, she told me to go instead. With me going means, I'd be out of Baguio for at least 4 days, get to ride a de luxe bus, ride an airplane, stay in a 5-star hotel with breakfast and wi-fi connection and go to best restaurants all over Cebu - all for free (except the restaurant part, that, I get to pay). Not bad, don't you think? Okay na din sya...hehe!

First off, I'd be leaving Baguio at 10 in the morning for the first Victory Bus de luxe trip. I should be in Manila around 3pm. Then my flight to Cebu is at 5:45pm. Di na ko kakain ng merienda ksi pagdating ng Cebu, AA's na daw kagad kami. Guys, if you are into seafoods and does not want to spend much, then AA's is the perfect place for you! Sobrang sarap ng food and their scalloops (tama ba spelling?) and baked tahongs are to die for! Nagugutom na ko, ngayon pa lang. Not to mention yun iced tea nila, kakaiba talaga! Siguro maka tatlong rice ako bukas! Good luck!

Dun din ako magstay sa Cebu Parklane, which by experience, is a really good hotel. Bago amenities nila at lahat ng staff ay sobrang friendly. Smiles and all...

At syempre naka schedule na din yun pagdinner namin sa Casa Verde. For steak and baby back ribs lovers out there, this is the best and most affordable baby back ribs in the whole universe. This is not exaggerating ha, sobrang sarap talaga dun at ang mura pa. Just wait till you get to taste their desert - Death by Chocolate! If this desert could kill, then the whole Cebu should be skeleton by now. SARAP!

And then, I get to miss yun crush ko dun sa Cebu. We work for the same company yun nga lang, taken na daw sya ngaun. Too bad kasi nga nahuli na ko pero it's not all too late. EH kun yun bride nga eh naagaw pa, gf pa kaya...hehe(devil laugh with matching trident)

Yan na lang muna for now...I'd be sharing some more experiences hopefully by tomorrow on my first day in Cebu.
